Xavier University, B.S., 1953; Northwestern University, M.B.A., 1954; 2 years law school-Chase College and University of Maryland. Professional business and real estate consultant. Graduate of Realtor's Institute (G.R.I.). Delegate, Republican Party National Convention, 1988. Distinguished Service Award, Glen Burnie Jaycees, 1963. Married. Died in Ocean City, Maryland, November 14, 1996.
In 1998, the Maryland General Assembly called for the dedication of the Maryland portion of Interstate Route 97 as the Senator John A. Cade Memorial Highway (Joint Resolution no. 7, Acts of 1998).
