The Governor established the Maryland Foreclosure Task Force by executive letter of August 24, 2011. The Task Force is to identify key foreclosure trends in Maryland and what impact foreclosures are having on communities across the State. Further, the Task Force will develop strategies to mitigate loss to Maryland home owners and to strengthen neighborhoods most affected by foreclosures.
