On October 31, 2016, the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals created the Advisory Committee to Explore the Feasibility of Maryland’s Adoption of the Uniform Bar Examination.

To the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals, which regulates the Maryland Bar, the Committee will make recommendations on the feasibility of adopting a uniform bar examination for persons in Maryland seeking to become lawyers.

Appointed by the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals, the Committee consists of thirteen members.
