Born in Carroll County, Maryland, August 24, 1927. Attended Westminster High School; Towson State College (business management); Carroll Community College. Member, Maryland Association of Orphans' Court Judges (past secretary); National College of Probate Judges. Member, Just Two Group; Gettysburg Region Antique Car Club, American Antique Car Association. Member, Grace Lutheran Church. Married; two children, five grandchildren.
