On December 16, 2010, the County Executive established the Accountability, Compliance and Integrity Advisory Board to ". . . help County Government provide transparent, open and accountable services for its citizens." The Board was to review ethical practices and policies of Prince George's County government and its surrounding jurisdictions; and review and evaluate the Prince George's County Ethics Code, and the Maryland Ethics Code.
The Board submitted its report to the County Executive on June 13, 2011.

The Blue Ribbon Commission on Addressing Prince George's County Structural Deficit formed in June 2015 (County Council Resolution 26-2015).
The Commission was charged with recommending to the County Council and County Executive ways to close the County's structural deficit, the gap between tax revenues and expenditures. The Commission studied potential causes of the deficit; examined the County's budget and spending structure; reviewed policies and practices that impact revenues and tax base; and received comments and suggestions from County citizens.
In January 2017, the Commission submitted its final report.

REDISTRICTING COMMISSION
In January 2011, the Redistricting Commission was authorized in accordance with the County Charter (Art. III, sec. 305; County Council Resolution CR-2-2011). To develop a plan for Council districts, the County Charter requires that such a commission be established every ten years.
The Commission submitted its plan to the County Council in September 2011. The redistricting plan was adopted in 2011 (County Council Resolution CB-64-2011).
