Born in Salisbury, Maryland, November 3, 1942. Attended Washington High School, Princess Anne; University of Baltimore, B.S. (business management), 1965; Mount Vernon School of Law, J.D., 1969. Served in U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1970. Attorney. Member, Maryland State Bar Association; Maryland State's Attorneys' Association, 1976-. Founding member, Somerset County 4-H Foundation (past president). Member, American Legion; Baltimore Boumi Temple; 4-H All-Stars; Manokin Lodge 106, AF & AM; Princess Anne Lions Club. Past president and Chief, Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Company. Married; four children. Died in Princess Anne, Maryland, March 12, 2009.
